Scotch Quarter Practice based at Carrickfergus Health Centre has issued the following urgent patient message this morning (Friday):

“We have only one GP working in the practice today (April 8) due to illness so this has severely restricted our triage calls today.

“Please do not contact us today if your request is not urgent and can wait until Monday morning.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
