It demonstrates dedication and commitment to providing the highest standard of service to both visitors and local customers. This will help generate higher visitor numbers in the future which will be a great economic benefit, not only to the businesses but, also our borough.”
The owner of Antrim Curtain Gems, Georgina Sefton, was delighted to receive her award from the Mayor. She said: “As a small business owner, it’s easy to become complacent and think we are delivering good customer service. In reality, the customer may see things differently to us and we constantly need reminded about the importance of creating a positive first impression to all of our customers. The course was very interactive and I picked up lots of good tips from it.”
