Decrease in jobless tally
Unemployment in Carrickfergus has decreased by 35 over the past month, according to figures from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.
There are now 868 claimants in the borough; of these 598 are male and 270 female. This represents a change of -252 over the year.
