Fiona's parting role

FIONA Chamley will perform for Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society for the last time next month.

Fiona, who has performed in Bring It On, West Side Story, Calamity Jane and Boogie Nights for the St Anthony's Centre based group is emigrating to Australia in the summer.

Show producer Kieran Corr said: "Fiona over the last few years has been a vital cast member in numerous shows. For the forthcoming production of Blood Brothers, I'm glad to say Fiona is performing in one of the principal roles."

Fiona will perform as the estranged Mrs Lyons and she is putting her heart and soul into the production.

"We will miss her when she moves to Australia but who knows maybe in the future she might return to Craigavon," said Kieran.

This will be the first time Blood Brothers will be performed in Craigavon and a very talented and experienced cast have been lined up for the show.

Raymond Murray will perform as the narrator and will also direct.

The cast includes the likes of Ronan McGivern, Daniel May, Aaron Murphy, Seany Roberts, Nicola O'Hara, Karen McConville, Michael Murray and Eimear O'Neill.

Joe Mooney has built a fantastic set for the show and the cast will be busy over the Easter period fine tuning this show which will be performed three times in April.

Blood Brothers opens on Friday, April 16 at 7.30pm and continues on Saturday at 8.45pm and Sunday at 7.30pm. Tickets priced at 5 are on sale from St Anthony's Centre and Print Business Supplies in North Street.
