Twilight soccer lights up Friday nights

A NEW programme of Twilight Soccer has kicked off again for local teenagers.

Funded through the Community Safety Partnership Summer Splash Programme, Twilight Soccer has set up the following venues: Town Parks; Larne and Glenlough Community Centre; Carnlough; The Cliff; Seacourt; Greenland MUSA and Linn Road Mini Pitch.

Running from 8 to11pm, the programme gives 13-18 year olds an opportunity to get active and engage in a structured programme on Friday evenings.

The programme will run until the end of October. There will also be a number of workshops delivered throughout the programme, which will focus on relevant issues affecting teenagers.

For more information contact David McAllister (Youth Outreach Officer) or Niall Curneen (Community Sport Development Officer) at Larne Borough Council on 02828 263080.
