Test your cycling skills at Larne Street Velodrome

As part of Mid and East Antrim's '˜Bike Fest', local cyclists will have the chance to test their skills on a Street Velodrome on Wednesday June 15, 10-8pm at Larne Leisure Centre.

You may have seen the street velodrome online, and its coming to Larne to give you a different cycling experience.

Schools only will participate from 10am – 3pm, and from 3pm the event is open to the community to come along and participate.

The Street Velodrome team will provide all participants with quick training before participants are permitted on to the track to race their partner around the velodrome!

Sunday (6:30pm - 7:30pm) sees the Superhero Bike Ride back in the heart of Larne. Get yourself and your kids dressed up as your favourite superhero, and cycle round a traffic-free Larne Main Street route.

Enjoy the atmosphere created by our street entertainers while you cycle or just spectate, with refreshments available for spectators. All children under 16 must be supervised and all participants must be wearing a safety helmet.
