LARNE AC: Morrow and Blair are big winners at prize-giving

Wayne Morrow and Patricia Blair were the big winners at Larne Athletic Club's annual prize-giving.

Wayne picked up the Male Athlete of the Year award, while Patricia was named Female Athlete of the Year.

Results as follows: Male Athlete of the year - Wayne Morrow; runner-up - Phelim McAllister; Female athlete of the Year - Patricia Blair; runner-up - Heather Baxter; Male Veteran of the Year - William Thompson; runner-up - John Neill; Female Veteran of the Year - Janine Rainey, runner-up - Bernie Regan; Female Junior of the Year - Erin Beattie; Runner-up - Laura Brennan; Male Junior Athlete of the Year - James Topping; Runner-up - Jack Baxter; Performance of the Year - Thomas Craig; Female Newcomer of the Year - Emma McKeen; Male Newcomer of the Year, Bobbie Garrett; Most Improved Male - Ricky Mann; Most Improved Female - Emily Boal; Merit award - Steven Gilliland, Eddie Finn, Jenna McCollum and Louisa Garrett; Club person of the Year - David Noble; Handicap winner - Rory McGregor; Handicap merit award - Irene Beattie; Winner of Wooden Spoon - Erin Beattie.

International Duty awards - Craig Hutchinson, Rosaleen, Charlie Meban and Bernard Brady.
