Grammar set for Trophy quarter-final

Larne Grammar will be aiming to bounce back from their comprehensive Schools’ Cup defeat to Regent House this weekend.

Their First XV will be vying for a place in the Danske Bank Schools’ Trophy semi-final when - weather permitting - they take on Wellington College in Belfast on Saturday morning.

Larne suffered a forgettable 49-0 loss to Regent in their round-two clash earlier this month, but a confidence-boosting victory against Wellington would leave them just one match away from the Trophy final.

Wellington exited the Schools’ Cup in a 16-8 defeat to The Royal School Dungannon.
