A record number of Larne Athletic Club members ran in the Castlewellan Christmas Cracker in County Down on Saturday. The event requires runners to pair up and race as a team, with the added stipulation that they must cross the line together.

The first Larne runner home, in sixth place, was Justin Maxwell (1:04:32), who was running with Iain Taggart of Ballymena Runners.
