Carrick side Greenbank ‘A’ sit on top of the Larne and District Snooker League after a fine 4-1 win over champions Ballyclare ‘A’.

D Johnston, D Douglas, W Harper and M Kane all won for the Sunnylands side, with Trevor Mairs responding for the golfers.

St John’s continue their good form in second place thanks to a 3-2 success against Latharna. A Robertson (28), D Todd and S Guiller won their matches for the home side while Neil McFayden and Billy Miller registered for Latharna.

Carrick a sit joint-second despite losing 3-2 to Linfield. Ricky Bradley with a 47 and G Armstrong won for the North Road side as W Stewart, G Rutherford and John Ferguson won for the Blues.

St Comgall’s new-found form continued with a 4-1 win against Carrick B. A McIlwaine, C. O’Toole, D McDonagh and J Gribben all won for Saints with Glenn Gibney replying for the visitors.

Ballyclare Old Boys beat Greenbank B 3-2, while The Point got the better of high-flyers Ballylumford and Ballyclare B saw off Q Club ‘A’ 4-1.
