Larne Seconds moved into the quarter-finals of the Lindsay Minor Qualifying Cup with a comfortable 98-run victory over Victoria at the weekend.

Neil Campbell top-scored with 83 not-out at Lurgan Park. He hit 11 fours in a Man of the Match performance, helping Larne to a total of 172-3.

Leg-spinner Jack Mitchell (3-22) clean-bowled two of the Victoria batsmen in his first over, while Reece Wetherhead returned excellent figures of 2-10. Andy Steward took 1-19.

Seam bowlers Mike Lyle and Barry McFaul picked up three economical wickets between them as Victoria were dismissed for 75 runs.
