Saints are now big favourites for the Q Club Larne Pool League after a convincing 11-4 win over Ibrox.
Shaun McAlister and Pat McAnally were both on form, grabbing hat-tricks. Their victory made it four wins from four against other title contenders.
The Thatch had a scare at the Gers coming through 9-7 after Johnny Nelson won the play-off frame, but the Gers did well to come back from 8-3 down and were inspired by a Darren Lowe hat-trick.
The Feathers had Neil Campbell to thank as he won four from four to earn the Pigeon Club men a point against Q Pool.
The Tech Tornadoes made it eight in a row with a 11-4 success at Ruby’s. Andrew Lilly and Sean Davison both had trebles.
Q Club will be aiming for some consistency after a 14-1 win at Thatch Rockets where Craig Laughlin, Wayne Lewis, Lee Topping and Neil McFaul each took three frames apiece.
Station Bar won 9-6 against the young Blues, Micky O’Boyle and Davy Magill on form with hat-tricks.
St Comgall’s had a solid 11-4 win at the Freewheelers, helped by a Gary McCorry hat-trick although the busmen where themselves aided by a Rodney McIlhinney treble. Last, but not least, No. 1 Reds chalked up a straightforward 11-4 home win against Clonlee. Andy McWilliams, William Magill and Ian McCalmont all bagged hat-tricks for the home side.
