Larne RFC slipped to a tenth Qualifying 2 defeat of the season at Grosvenor on Saturday.

The men from Glynn are fifth in the table after they lost 20-15 to the Belfast side.

This weekend Ryan Garrett’s men make the trip to Donaghadee, who were beaten 52-14 to Coleraine at the weekend. Donaghadee have three games in hand over Larne, so its a game the East Antrim outfit will be targeting for a much-needed win.

Randalstown were made to battle all the way at Q2 stablemates Academy, but it was the visitors who emerged with a 7-3 success. Academy are on home turf again this weekend as they welcome Ballymoney to Roughfort.

Elsewhere, Q3 team Ophir were narrowly beaten 24-27 at home to Monaghan.
