Larne Athletic Club members Ian Brennan and Phelim McAllister travelled to Cookstown on Friday (August 2) to take part in Stanley Reid Memorial five-mile road race.
The course starts and finishes within the grounds of the campus at Loughry College with the majority of the race out on the undulating country roads around Cookstown.
McAllister was first home for the club with a fantastic run, finishing in 15th place with a time of 28.46. Brennan also had an excellent race, crossing the line in 86th place with a time of 33.52 - over a minute faster than his previous best on this course in 2012.
