Larne Cricket Club bagged their first win of the season on Tuesday evening, defeating Donaghadee in the Twenty20 Shield.
Trevor Dempsey top-scored with 38 not-out in the eight-wicket success, ably supported at the crease by skipper Chris Dempsey who made 28. Donaghadee posted 111-7 after 20 overs, while Larne eased to 112-2.

Gareth Gaw returned bowling figures of 3 for 12, while Dempsey top-scored with 43.
On Sunday they suffered a heavy defeat against Drumaness who won by 114 runs.
Larne are back at the crease this Saturday in a second-round Junior Cup match at Millpark who have won two from two in Section Three.
After three postponements, the Seconds got their season under way on Saturday at Laurelvale where they won by 12 runs.
