All four East Antrim schools in this year’s Ulster Bank Schools’ Cricket Cup have been drawn away from home in the first round of the tournament.

Ballyclare High School will have the short journey to Ballymena Academy as will Belfast High School to Grosvenor Grammar School.

Carrickfergus Grammar will undertake the longest trip to Strabane Academy and Larne Grammar will travel to Holywood to take on Sullivan Upper.

A total of 27 schools have entered the competition and five have been seeded and receive a bye into the second round.

The first round is scheduled to be completed by April 29 and the full draw is:

Strabane Academy v Carrickfergus Grammar School; Sullivan Upper School v Larne Grammar School; Antrim Grammar School v Friends’ School Lisburn; Royal School Armagh v Bangor Grammar School; Grosvenor Grammar School v Belfast High School; Coleraine Academical Institution v Down High School; Methodist College Belfast v RBAI 2nd XI; Portora Royal School v Royal School Dungannon; Campbell College 2nd XI v Limavady Grammar School; Ballymena Academy v Ballyclare High School; Regent House School v Lurgan College.
