Gillian Logan led the way for Larne, crossing the finish line in sixth place in a personal best time of 35:47. It was enough for her to claim first spot in the Female Open category.

The ever-improving Kerri-Anne Craig was next home, clocking 39:08 while Gemma McCollum completed the top three Larne finishers in 40:05.

Laura Brennan produced a super performance to claim first place in the junior category in 46:03. One to watch in the future!

This year’s race raised money for breast cancer charity, ‘Pretty ‘n’ Pink’. And pink was certainly the theme of the night with many marshals and spectators decked out in colourful wigs and tutus which added to the super-charged atmosphere.

Larne AC would like to thank Ballymena Runners for yet another well-organised and highly enjoyable event. The Belles really did run the town!
