The Artie McClean Memorial Cup took place on the shores of Glenarm recently, with all entry fees donated charity.

The annual event, organised by local anglers Derek Craig and Stevie Jones saw 20 anglers launch their baited traces.

Barry Platt and Drew Ferguson both hooked nice 30cm plus codling, Steven Hodge hooked a superb 30cm flounder as William Weir showed off his brace of flounder. Junior angler Michael Auld reeled in flounder and wrasse.

The evening was soon drawing to an end with various types of fish showing on most scorecards and it was Hodge and Weir who emerged as joint-winners of the event. Organisers wish to thank everyone who attended the evening, including special thanks to those who made a private donation.
