Tech to face Bangor YM in Clarence Cup

The draw for the opening rounds of the Amateur League’s Clarence Cup has been made.

While there tends to be more prestige attached to the Border Cup, the Clarence is arguably harder to win. It’s the equivalent of FA Cup in Amateur League circles.

Wellington Rec and Larne Tech face Junior opposition. Johnny Hastings’ Tech side will travel to Bangor YM, while Rec have been handed a home draw against Carnmoney’s 4th Newtownabbey.
