It was a fantastic weekend for Larne swimmers in the Disability Swimmers’ Northern Ireland

Championships, held at Lisburn.

Between them, James Hamilton, Josh McAllister, Taylor Clements and Katie Morrow brought

home 10 gold and two silvers medals.

In the S14 category, Ballyclare’s Hamilton recorded 1:15.99 in the 100m breast stroke to win gold, while McAllister took silver in 1:34.

Hamilton timed 1:01.84 to bag another gold in the 100m freestyle, and McAllister again claimed silver in 1:02.95. McAllister also won gold in the 100m backstroke (1:22) and the 50m Butterfly (33 second).

Clements (14) won three gold medals, winning the 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke and the 25m freestyle.

In the S10 category, Morrow (14) raced to gold in the 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 100m breaststroke and the 100m backstroke.
