New sponsor fires up Larne FC

Stephen Ashe and Betty Wilson from Fergusson Coal present Larne FC chairman Archie Smyth and first-team manager David McAlinden with the club's new home and away shirts.

The solid fuel supplier Invermen following the opening of a new depot at Larne Harbour earlier this year.

Archie Smyth, chairman of Larne, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the backing of Fergusson Coal this year.

“Larne Football Club has been focusing on developing youngsters from the community and nurturing them to become great footballers and we couldn’t do this without support from corporate partners like Fergusson Coal.”

Sales and Operations Manager for Ireland, Stephen Ashe, said: “Fergusson Coal is very excited to be establishing a sponsorship agreement with Larne Football Club.
