New date for Irish Cup replay

Larne’s Irish Cup fifth-round replay against Lurgan Celtic has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 29 at Inver (7:45pm), with Championship Two leaders Knockbreda awaiting the winners in the last 16.

The tie was set to be played last night (January 22), but was called off after a pitch inspection in the afternoon.

Graham McConnell’s side are back in action at Inver Park this weekend when they entertain Limavady United in the fourth round of the Intermediate Cup (1:30pm kick-off).

In this week’s Times we hear from Larne boss McConnell and striker Sencer Yilmaz, who has made a return to the club following a spell with Carrick Rangers.
