Larne marksman Ciaran Murray is the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ BT Sport Championship Player of the Month for November.
Murray, who has found the net 14 times already this season, was keen to acknowledge the help of his team-mates in securing the award.
“I can’t take all the credit for, a lot of it comes from linking up with Paul Maguire and the rest of the team,” said the former Immaculata frontman.
“We started November with two defeats which I scored in, but we had a great finish to the month. I have settled in with the team very well as they are a great bunch of lads who have made me very welcome and there is a great spirit in the camp.”
Larne fans will also be glad to hear Murray has no plans to leave Inver Park this season.
“My future lies at Larne for the near future as I am not the type of person who leaves in mid-season. I am happy with the manager and the team. I hate not having something to play for and I believe we are good enough to be challenging come the end of the season.”
