Ian Cahoon, from the club’s 125th Anniversary Committee, said: “We were really impressed by the quality of all the entries.

“It made picking the short list a difficult job, but we’re really looking forward to seeing it on the shirts next season.

“We wanted to raise some awareness that it was the club’s 125th Anniversary, because it’s such a landmark year for the club.

“We also wanted to do something with the school children of the town and this allowed us to do that.”
