Former Larne and Lisburn Distillery boss Tommy Kincaid has been appointed as the new boss at Amateur League side Barn United.

The Division 1A side made the announcement on social media late on Tuesday evening.

“We have a new 1st team manager in Tommy Kincaid,” a post on the club’s Facebook page reads. “Everyone at the club would like to welcome Tommy and look forward to working with him.”

Kincaid takes over from Jim Pherson who remains at Haslett Park ‘in a committee role’.

With just one league win to their name from nine outings this season, Barn sit second-bottom of the table.

The team are away to Paul Kirk’s Lisburn Rangers on Saturday.
