Former Carrick Rangers player Michael McClean has become Larne’s eighth signing since the Championship 1 season came to a conclusion.
The Inver Park club announced the central defender’s arrival from Knockbreda on Wednesday evening.
McClean, 32, is a player Larne boss Davy McAlinden knows well having played alongside him in the 2011 Rangers side which won the league, and with it, promotion to the top-flight.
“He’s been added to bring in a wee bit more experience,” McAlinden told the club’s YouTube channel.
“He was my central defensive partner when we won the league at Carrick. He knows what it’s about to win at this level. He knows how to win this division.”
