Islandmagee Football Club has appointed Mark Duff as its new manager.

Duff stepped down as Linfield Ladies’ boss in October and succeeds Davy Rollo who was sacked by the Islanders after a string of poor results.

Making the announcement on Twitter on Thursday evening, the Northern Amateur League outfit wrote: “Delighted to confirm the appointment of Mark Duff as new first-team manager. The club look forward to working with Mark, who brings great experience having worked with Loughgall, Cliftonville and Linfield.”

Islandmagee are bottom of the Premier Division, with five points from 12 games. Duff’s first game as boss is on Saturday, away to second-placed Albert Foundry.
