Anglers from Larne and District Sea Angling Club last Saturday travelled too Londonderry to fish the shores of Kinnego Bay. This venue marked the annual week-end away shore Trophy.
The shores where alive with Turbot, Flounder, Coalfish and Pollock which made the whole competition more exhillerating. The anglers enjoyed their new venue especially William Weir, who successfully won the day beating off his rivals to take one of the biggest trophy of the year. Barry Platt came close to win second place and third went to Ann Rice. Many thanks to Johnny Carey for his Kinnego Bay suggestion.

William Weir is no stranger to success he competed in the Annual Arty McNeil Memorial Trophy and beat his competitors too collect this trophy a few weeks ago. William is definately one too watch at any competition.

The annual AGM for the club is onThursday, 25th September for all members. With the fortnightly meeting this Thursday, 4th September at 8:00pm
