Q-STIX WIN SUCCESSIVE SNOOKER LEAGUE TITLES

Q-STIX A completed the double for the second season in succession in the Larne and District Snooker League sponsored by Vermont Press and Norman McClay Trophies.
A single point from their final game at Ballyclare Golf Club was enough for the Larne team to claim the title ahead of nearest challengers Ballyclare A, who finished only four points adrift.

Comrades A won the Division 2 championship with a game t
o spare from Larne Legion and both are promoted to League 1 in place of Ballylumford A and Rangers respectively.

Both teams won their final home games of the season to gain promotion ahead of Linfield of Ballyclare and Greenbank B, whilst Ballylumford B and Ballyclare B drop into the third division.

Victoria won Division 3 with a bit to spare from Greenbank C and both teams gain promotion.

Congratulations to young Steven Higgins of Comrades A on winning the Division 2 and 3 Individual competition.
Higgins was in fine form in the final to edge out Paul Burns of Larne Legion 3-2.
