Making a welcome return to competitions were Carrick’s Harry Horner and John Bateman, Harry breaking the record with 122.5k at 67.5k bodyweight and John lifting 140k. Brian Martin also of the East Antrim Club broke the master 2 (over 50 ) in the 100k class with 146 k

Geoff Faris, just returned from holiday, was overweight for his usual class but managed 210 in the higher bodyweight class
