McGarry fails to reach knock-out stage of TV darts

Larne man Colin McGarry got off to a great start at the televised Grand Slam of Dart In Wolverhampton when he defeat PDO number one Mark Webster 5-4 in his opening group game.
However he failed to follow it up as he lost 5-3 to Mervyn King and then 5- to Duchman Micael Van Gerwen in final two group games.

Victory over the Dutchman would have meant he qualified for the knockout stage but is was not to be .

After his final group game Colin admitted “I’m very disappointed not to have qualified after the start I made. I couldn’t get going against Michael but full credit to him for a good performance - he did the business.”
