CIYMS prove too strong for young 1st XV

On Saturday 30th August, Larne 1st XV played hosts to a very strong CIYMS side, who will be pushing hard for promotion to Qualifying One next season. The young Larne side gave a good account of themselves but lost out by 31-12. Larne try scorers were Paul Agnew and Davy Thompson. Gary Knox converted one of the tries.
This Saturday, 6th September, Larne travel to Greenisland to play local rivals BHSFP in the last 'friendly' before the league starts on Saturday,13th September with a short trip to play Ophir.



GOLF DAY



This Friday 05th September, Larne Rugby Club are holding their Golf Day at Cairndhu Golf Club for the AM Nexday trophy with a BBQ to follow at the Rugby Club. Entertainment will be provided by the very popular 'Shotgun' and we expect a good day of sport and a night of craic. Tickets are available at the club.
