Looking back... Award for local student
Ballygally teenager Colin Lough received an award in May 2001 for perfect attendance throughout his school career.
The 19-year-old was one of six students in the NEELB area to receive the ‘Max’ award for not missing a day during his 14 years of school.
Colin was a former pupil of Cairncastle Primary, Larne Grammar Prep and Larne Grammar School.

Hide AdHe received a special plaque and certificate from Board Chief Executive, Mr Gordon Topping.
Colin was presented with his accolades at a ceremony in County Hall, Ballymena.
Colin went on to study Management with Computers at Queen’s University in Belfast.
