Walk to the Carnlough lakes

Glenarm Walk Leaders are planning an outing along one of Co Antrim's most scenic, yet least seen beauty spots.

On Sunday, April 17 the group will lead a walk in the Antrim Hills to the Carnlough lakes, on top of the Antrim Plateau. The Grade A walk is up steep inclines, almost entirely on private lands and the walk leaders are extremely grateful to the land owners for granting the privilege of walking in these beautiful hills.

Anyone interested in joining the walk should register at Glenarm Visitor Centre at 2pm, or in the Spar car park in Carnlough at 2.30pm. The cost is £3 per person, including refreshments. Sturdy footwear is essential and walking poles recommended.
