Monthly '˜Hear to Help' clinic at centre

Action on Hearing Loss are helping everyone in the Larne and surrounding areas to make sure that hearing aids are in tip-top condition during the monthly '˜Hear to Help' drop-in clinic.

It will take place from 10:30am-12:30pm on Monday, April 18 at Gloucester Park Day Centre, Larne.

Trained volunteers, who wear hearing aids themselves, will be on hand to give free, practical advice on cleaning and maintaining hearing aids. They can help to solve any problems with hearing aids and offer advice on how to manage hearing loss.

The initiative is a partnership with the Northern Health and Social Care Trust who have trained volunteers to assist people who may have issues and to signpost them if they require hearing aid repairs or need their hearing aid programmed. The Trust will also provide tubing and batteries for anyone who is experiencing difficulties.
