PUP representative Jonathan Hodge has offered to mediate and provide “any support that is necessary” to help prevent a repeat of the violent scenes in Larne on Sunday.
Mr Hodge condemned the attacks on homes in Ferris Avenue and Knockdhu Park as “utterly deplorable”.
He claimed that people in the Factory area are “living in fear” and added: “The attacks on homes were carried out without any consideration of the wider impact on the local community.
“It must have been a terrifying experience for everyone involved.
“I recognise that our local neighbourhood policing teams are stretched and have a difficult job with few resources, however, it is about time something is done to provide adequate cover in the town.
“As I said before, I am willing to mediate or provide any support that is necessary to bring these attacks to an end.”
