A fish tank was broken and a window smashed in an attack on a house occupied by older people in Carnlough, police have said.

The PSNI is investigating a report of the incident in the Croft Road area.

Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “It is thought that sometime between the evening of Thursday, September 24 and Friday morning the front window of the house was smashed. A fish tank inside the house was also broken as a result of the damage.

“No one was injured as a result of the incident, but the older home owners are very concerned about the incident.”

He urged: “Anyone with information on the matter is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.”
