WOMEN in the Antiville and Craigyhill area are being given the opportunity to join a new free personal development programme.
The 10-week evening programme is promoted by the new Antiville Women’s Support Group and delivered by LEDCOM. It covers a wide range of topics including, building confidence and self-esteem, money matters, improving your employability, healthy eating, enterprise and self-employment, making IT/computers work for you and the promotion of good mental health and well-being.
This is a great chance for women to meet new friends and build their confidence. The programme includes some fun activities such as making the most of “you” and an evening at Lulabelle’s House, a small business based in LEDCOM where participants will learn a range of painting techniques to transform old furniture.
The programme is open to women in the Antiville and Craigyhill area and starts on Wednesday, January 11, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and is funded by the IFI Communities in Transition Programme.
