LOCAL community groups, schools and charities are being urged to apply to the Big Lottery Fund’s TV-based People’s Millions project.

East Antrim DUP MLA Alastair Ross said four Northern Ireland projects will receive up to £50,000 of funding to inspire, involve and improve their local community.

He added: “I noted the improvements that were made to the play facilities of a West Belfast primary school that received enough public votes to secure funding in this way. I would therefore encourage those groups who are currently looking to attract grants or donations to consider using the scheme by filling out an online entry form at before the deadline of May 13.”
