A 25-year-old man has sustained a broken arm and leg after he was set upon by masked men armed with baseball bats in Larne.
The attack happened in at a house in the Hampton Crescent area.
Police said the victim sustained fractures to his arm and leg after he was set upon by five masked men armed with baseball bats and bars at around 1.35am on Saturday morning.
The victim is currently recovering in hospital. A number of people, who are not thought to live in the house, were not hurt.
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley has appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives in Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101.
