Remembering the Princess Victoria disaster

THERE was a time for remembrance and reflection at the annual Princess Victoria commemoration service.

The memorial at Chaine Memorial Road was the venue for the service, organised by the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes in association with Larne council.

Our photographer was at this poignant event as that fateful day in January 1953 was remembered.

Full picture coverage in this week's Larne Times.
