Police issue appeal after Ballycarry burglary

Detectives in Larne are appealing for information after a report of an aggravated burglary at residential premises in the Hillhead Road area of Ballycarry on Monday past (February 6).

Shortly after 10.20pm, it was reported that three unknown males entered a house. They caused damage to the property before leaving. It is not believed that anything was taken. A woman and her teenage son who were in the house at the time were not injured.

Anyone who has any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area last night is asked to contact CID in Larne on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
