DUP councillor Drew Niblock has been voted on to the Larne policing and community safety partnership (PCSP).

He joins Ald Winston Fulton (DUP) and councillors Roy Craig (independent), Michael Lynch (Alliance), Maureen Morrow (UUP), Bobby McKee (DUP), Gregg McKeen (DUP), James McKeown (SF), Mark McKinty (UUP) and Martin Wilson (SDLP) as council nominees.

Cllr Niblock replaces TUV alderman Jack McKee, who stood down in protest at what he regards as “heavy-handed” police tactics against Union flag protestors.

Councillors Wilson and McKee commended Ald McKee’s input to both the district policing partnership (which he once chaired) and the PCSP.
