Health and Reminiscence event planned
Antiville and Craigyhill Seniors Forum will be holding a Health and Reminiscence morning in Linn Road Community Centre on Friday, November 18 from 11am to 2pm.
The event is being funded by Networks Involving Communities in Health Improvement (NICHI), a project within North Antrim Community Network which was initiated by Public Health Agency Northern Area.
The aim of the NICHI project is to achieve effective community involvement in health and social wellbeing improvement throughout the whole of the Northern area by engaging local communities with statutory services to improve overall health and social wellbeing.
Organisations attending the event include Arthritis Care, Alzheimers Society, A2B, NHSCT Palliative Care and Patient and Client Council to name just a few.
It is an opportunity for everyone in the Larne Borough Council area to avail of a range of important health and social well being information and will raise local awareness of the organisations providing services and support to older people living in the wider Larne area.
