Developer bounces soft-play opportunity
THE developer behind the Redlands retail and leisure complex has urged local entrepreneurs to grasp a unique business opportunity.
McKenzies (NI) wants to see a soft play area established on the extensive site, which already boasts an ASDA supermarket and which will also feature an eight-screen cinema by the end of the year, with a substantial Blue Chicago Grill restaurant to follow early in 2011.
Managing director Sergio McKenzie says he believes there is huge demand in Larne for an indoor activity centre featuring climbing frames, slides, inflatables, ball pools and the like. He said: "Business at Redlands has increased significantly since ASDA opened in June and it looks more people are now staying in Larne to do their shopping.
