“Allyson knew I was going to have my head shaved at three o’clock and rang to wish me well.

“The sum I raised is the equivalent of $8,500 and will pay for a couple of months’ treatment.”

The 54-year-old beautician is battling three aggressive forms of cancer .

Allyson and her husband David have already pledged their life-savings to pay for the treatment but need to raise the remainder of the cost.
