On Saturday, April 27 the Salvation Army, Larne, held a flag day in Larne town centre which raised £511.20.
Larne Times’ campaign helps raise benefit check uptake by 570 per cent
I am writing to say thanks again, on behalf of the charity, for the support of the Larne Times in helping us reach older people in the local boroughs of Larne, Carrickfergus and Newtownabbey during our successful benefit uptake campaign.
£3,243 raised for charity
We wish to extend our thanks to Mr John Armstrong, staff and pupils of Larne High School, Dunnes Stores head office, Mr Gabriel McCollum, Mrs Janice Nyguist, managers and staff of Dunnes Stores, Cornmarket, Paul Stinson and members of Cairndhu Golf Club, Jock Maybin and members of Larne Rugby Club, Richard and Anna Hunter and patrons of Billy Andy’s, Amanda Stitt, staff and clients of Tranquility, staff of Jackson’s Butchers and the many friends and family who sponsored us on our recent Paddle the Bann challenge to raise money for Cancer Focus NI.
