Larne man Philip Jamison has been inspiring young people through his role as a Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador.
The 24-year-old founded his own table tennis coaching business after 15 months of unemployment.
Philip took part in an intensive four-day Prince’s Trust course which helps unemployed young people start up in business and helped him transform a hobby into a business. Philip became a Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador.
He said:“I wanted to tell people that with a little support and a lot of effort and determination, you can achieve your dreams – and The Prince’s Trust can help you get there.”
Philip has engaged in consultations and attended a youth forum in London.
with other Young Ambassadors where he met and questioned a host of celebrities about their experiences.
Philip says, “The opportunities I’ve had because of my involvement with The Prince’s Trust have been incredible. I was apprehensive about public speaking, but the skills and self-confidence I’ve gained have made such a difference.”
