Frankie and Benny’s and We Are Vertigo will be joining forces with Northern Ireland’s biggest cultural family festival over Saturday, July 16 and Sunday 17.

We Are Vertigo will be sponsoring the kids’ zone, which includes an appearance by the stars of the children’s TV show Paw Patrol. Frankie and Benny’s will be hosting pizza parties over the two days, with children having the chance to learn how to make their delicious pizzas.

Adrian Morrow, festival director for Dalriada, said: “It’s a real privilege to partner We Are Vertigo. Alongside our famous highland games and strongman spectacle we have a horse stunt show, a motocross display and of course our world famous sheep fashion show and dog companion show, so we really have a varied programme on offer for all the family. As 2016 is The Year of Food and Drink in Northern Ireland, we are delighted that Frankie and Benny’s have also come on board to teach kids how to make their famous pizzas and we’ll also have lots of other exciting food and drink stands selling local produce. The eclectic music element of the festival includes numerous music stages featuring some fantastic acts, a dance hall to include Irish Dancing, Highland Dancing and Street Dance and a comedy stage which will feature some great comedians. The main stage in the evening will see Bagatelle and Andrew Strong from The Commitments as head-line acts. This is the sixth annual Dalriada Festival and year on year the event gets even bigger and better. Almost 30,000 people attended our festival in 2015 and we are confident that we’re going to attract even more footfall this year, with such a strong festival line-up.”
