Prestigious award for Larne builder

A Larne builder has been honoured for building homes of exceptional quality in the first round of the annual NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.

Andrew Johnson of Antrim Construction Co Ltd won the award for his management of the The Hamptons site in Larne, joining almost 450 other Quality Award winners from across the UK. Now in its 36th year, Pride in the Job celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make in creating homes of outstanding quality.

Regional Director for NHBC David Little said: “Congratulations to Andrew, who should be commended for building homes of an outstanding standard in the region.”

The Quality Award winners will be shortlisted for Seals of Excellence and Regional titles which will be revealed in the autumn. Regional Winners then go forward to contest the national Supreme Winner title at the gala final in London in January.
